I recommend this book to readers looking for an uplifting story of endurance and resilience during an otherwise bleak year. Six Feet Apart — the first book of a Trilogy — is set in the year 2025 while the COVID pandemic still rages.
Some of the romantic intrigues, class/economic differentials, and futuristic technology — so cogently and vividly described by the author — brought to my mind Margaret Atwood’s MaddAddam Trilogy (which I had happened to read earlier this year).
I think this author’s work will certainly aspire to that level. I totally think it’s worth following her to see how the next part of this creative and captivating saga unfolds.
