This is a juicy and absorbing book, which I highly recommend. What I loved best was how I could so easily relate to the protagonist, the lead character, Luna. The author so deftly articulated what it’s like to be a real woman and how we engage in a persistent juggling of personal interests, professional demands, and basic human needs of connection: love, romance, friendships, job/income, plus the desire to remain self-sufficient.
What I found so inspiring was how Luna moves forward with her life despite an ongoing global pandemic. Once I started reading, I could not put this book down until I had reached the end — it’s engaging, heart-wrenching, funny, captivating and best of all REAL. I can’t wait until the next part of the trilogy is ready!
